At Mithun Bakes and Caters, we are committed to providing you with the highest quality products and services. Please read our refund policy carefully.

Custom Orders & Perishable Items

Due to the perishable nature of our baked goods and the customized nature of our products, we have the following policy:

  • Custom cakes and special orders: Once production has begun, custom orders cannot be cancelled or refunded. We recommend confirming all details before placing your order.
  • Fresh baked goods: As our products are made fresh to order, refunds are not available once the order has been prepared.

Cancellation Policy

Before Production: If you need to cancel your order before we begin preparation, please contact us immediately. Cancellations made at least 24-48 hours before the scheduled delivery/pickup time may be eligible for a full refund or credit.

After Production: Once we have started preparing your order, cancellations are not accepted as ingredients have been used and time has been invested in creating your custom items.

Quality Issues

We take pride in our work and stand behind the quality of our products. If you receive an item that:

  • Is damaged during delivery
  • Does not match your confirmed order specifications
  • Has quality issues due to our error

Please contact us within 24 hours of receipt with photos of the issue. We will work with you to resolve the matter through a replacement, credit, or refund at our discretion.

Catering Services

Deposits: Deposits paid for catering services are non-refundable once the event date is confirmed and planning has begun.

Cancellations: Catering cancellations made more than 7 days before the event may receive a partial refund (minus the deposit). Cancellations made within 7 days of the event are non-refundable.

Weather & Unforeseen Circumstances

In case of extreme weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances that prevent delivery or pickup, we will work with you to reschedule or provide a credit for future orders.

Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed within 5-7 business days and credited back to your original payment method.
